India and England women will meet for a decisive ODI World Cup 2025 matchup at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Sunday (October 19). With both sides hoping for an impressive finish in this year’s competition, this high-stakes contest should provide plenty of entertainment.

Sophia Dunkley and Danni Wyatt-Hodge put England in an advantageous position as they raced to 57/0 within their powerplay overs. But spinners Radha Yadav and Shree Charani were able to slow England’s scoring down substantially and stop England reaching their target.

Sophia Dunkley and Danni Wyatt-Hodge put England into an early lead after racing to 56-1 from just three overs, before Deepti Sharma struck twice within 12 overs to send back Wyatt-Hodge and remove Heather Knight, giving India hope of an unlikely win despite Bethell’s unbeaten 105 not being enough for England – they will now play New Zealand in an intense decider on Sunday.
