1. De’Von Achane – RB

Their defense limited Miami Dolphins net passing yards to just 142, their lowest total since Week 6 2024. Furthermore, Washington forced two turnovers on downs for the first time ever this season.
NFL Network’s Michael Florio and Cameron Wolfe discuss De’Von Achane of the Miami Dolphins as a rookie running back with potential.
2. Deebo Samuel – WR
Tyshun Raequan “Deebo” Samuel Sr. is an American football wide receiver for the Washington Commanders of the Alliance of American Football. He played college football at South Carolina.
For the first time since Week 6 of 2024, the Commanders held their opponent under 150 net passing yards for just the sixth game this season and forced two turnovers on downs – their highest total ever seen in any one game this year.
Marcus Mariota connected with Deebo Samuel for an outstanding one-handed sideline catch in Madrid, Spain that brought them within four points late in the fourth quarter. 3. Quincy Enunwa – RB
Quincy Enunwa was a wide receiver from Nebraska University and was selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by New York Jets.
Enunwa was one of the Huskers’ most reliable receivers this season, collecting 51 passes for 753 yards and 12 touchdowns – more than 50 receptions in 13 games including an all-time best seven reception performance against Michigan University.
Enunwa was a hugely-effective offensive threat as a senior, with long receptions of 30 yards at Wyoming and 29-yarders against Wisconsin to set up NU touchdowns.
He recorded multiple-catch games against Michigan and Iowa before going three for four in late-season play – his late season run highlighted by three catches against both of them! Additionally, Enunwa is known for his physicality as a perimeter blocker to fuel Nebraska’s run game and was recognized with All-Inland Valley League first team honors as a junior player.
4. Chris Herndon – WR
Herndon is a big skilled tight end with an exceptional work ethic. Last season he excelled despite an arduous offensive environment under a rookie quarterback, and is primed for even greater production this time around.
Herndon finds himself running a designed route and finds himself between three defenders, the tendency being to break off and return back to the QB; instead he decides to improvise and run towards an open hole which allows him to gain 5 yards more in forward progress.
Herndon has proven his ability to manipulate defenders at both intermediate and deep levels of defense with ease, his unique skill set allowing him to box out smaller defenders while possessing enough speed to run down seams or deep patterns. This video shows just that!
5. Jordan Phillips – TE
Jordan Phillips is an American football defensive tackle currently playing for the Buffalo Bills and was selected by the New York Giants in the second round of 2015 NFL Draft. At Oklahoma University he received his degree.
Phillips made his Commanders debut against the Miami Dolphins with a sack in Week 6, 2024 – marking their lowest total in an entire game since that point! As part of a dominating defensive unit that limited Dolphins third down conversions to just three conversions total.
The Commanders defense forced two turnovers on downs – their highest total since Week 17 of 2024 – as well as recording two sacks in one game this season, limiting net passing yards allowed to 142.
6. Kenny Stills – WR
Washington’s defense held an opponent under 150 net passing yards for the first time since Week 6, forcing two turnovers on downs and notching three-plus sacks for the fifth time this season.
Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson connects with Kenny Stills on a 41-yard touchdown play.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports that free-agent wideout Kenny Stills will visit Buffalo Bills on Wednesday.
Kenny Stills caught 8 passes for 135 yards and one touchdown against the New England Patriots, leading a receiver corps that recorded its best performance of the year. Additionally, Stills added two rushing attempts for 25 yards. For the first time ever this season – and since 2024! – The Commanders scored on their opening possession of each half as well as in overtime!
7. Rashad Johnson – TE
Rashad Johnson had an outstanding game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon in San Diego for the Washington Commanders, catching two passes for 35 yards to lead them to a 16-13 win. Washington’s defense limited Miami’s offense to just three third down conversions and 142 net passing yards – their lowest total since Week 6 2024!
Washington recorded three-plus sacks five times this season (first since Week 8) as well as scoring on both opening possessions of each half for the first time all year! The game took place this Sunday afternoon in San Diego.
8. Davontae Johnson – WR
As Adam Peters attempts to rebuild from last season’s 5-12 disaster, he may look towards speed and youth on the outside as key pieces. Johnson would provide speed as well as big play threat in the slot – perfect targets for rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel.
Assuming his past issues haven’t returned this season (he played for three teams last season), he could vie with Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman for the team’s No. 3 spot on offense. Although out of contract this summer, if they find value acquiring him should not be too costly a proposition; his addition would help the Commanders remain competitive in the AAF; their opponents allowed 142 net passing yards last week which is their lowest total ever since Week 6. They even forced two turnovers on downs – something they hadn’t managed before then!
9. Kenny Stills – RB
Kenny Stills was a key part of the Dolphins offense and an invaluable asset both on and off the field. He regularly attended community events throughout the season and earned himself the Nat Moore Community Service Award at its conclusion.
Stills is not known for his outstanding speed or physicality, but is an efficient route-runner who is adept at getting separation with his swift feet. Additionally, his good hands allow him to make difficult catches in traffic situations.
With Ryan Broyles now playing in the NFL, Stills must prove he can provide more yards and touchdowns on an ongoing basis this season. While he possesses the necessary tools for doing so, Stills needs to improve his consistency to avoid becoming a slot receiver at his next stop.
10. Chris Herndon – RB
Herndon made history on Sunday when he caught his inaugural touchdown from quarterback Sam Darnold for the Commanders during their game against Miami Dolphins. Herndon caught a 6-yard pass to score their only score and score their sole touchdown for victory.
Washington’s defense produced two turnovers on downs in this game – marking their first such feat since Week 6. Furthermore, they only allowed three third down conversions; marking a low number for this season.
